Simon Whiting, assisted by Chris Arnell, recently completed a four-day trial in Ellis County defending a client against an employment discrimination claim. The plaintiff asserted various theories of liability based on alleged sexual harassment by her co-workers and retaliation by her former employer, and sought recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars in economic damages, in addition to punitive damages. After deliberating for approximately one hour, the jury came back with a unanimous verdict in favor of the defense.
In addition to being Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law, Simon’s breadth of experience enables him to clearly and effectively communicate with jurors. This latest trial win for Simon exemplifies why clients trust him to represent their interests, both inside and outside the courtroom.
